The FYTO CheckDrain XXL is a three-part plant saucer with a drainage hole, a drip tray, and a bottom grid. Excess water flows from the surface through the drainage hole into the drip tray, where it is collected. The tray rests on a bottom grid and can be pulled out from the side of the saucer, allowing for easy emptying and, if necessary, measuring the drainage water (pH and EC values). Despite this function, the saucer is comparatively flat and only increases the overall height of the plants by 6 cm. Furthermore, this saucer provides thermal insulation from cold floors (e.g., basements, attics, or conservatories), which is very important for a healthy root zone.
